Hola!!! Vengo con una autora que me encanta... Brittainy Cherry nos trae el cuarto y último libro de su serie Elements.... The gravity of us... se publicó hoy 13 de abril. Desde que leí el primero no pude parar hasta que leí los demás y este no fue la excepción... Son libros que te tienen con la emoción a flor de piel!!!

Graham Russell y yo no estábamos hechos el uno para el otro.
Yo estaba impulsada por la emoción; él era apático. Soñaba mientras él vivía en pesadillas. Lloraba cuando él no tenía lágrimas que derramar.

Hablar sobre los
libros de Brittainy Cherry es hablar sobre muchas cosas: dulzura, amor, drama,
química, angustia, dolor, valentía y sin duda podría seguir y seguir. Y este último
libro de la serie Elements no es la excepción.
Desde que leí The
air he breaths, no pude parar con todos los demás libros que puedo encontrar de
Brit. Ella tiene una prosa que te inspira, te hace suspirar, te hace doler el
alma, te hace sonreír y sobre todo te da esperanza. De verdad me faltan
palabras para explicar la emoción que me provoca.
Y The gravity of
us, señoras y señores, me dejó sin palabras… Apenas vengo terminando de
procesar lo que leí, y todavía se me hace un nudo en el corazón, pero vamos por
partes.
En esta cuarta
entrega conocemos a Graham y Lucy. Y su
historia es inspiradora más allá de las palabras.
“ La
emoción que hizo que las personas se elevaran y se estrellaran. El sentimiento que iluminaba a los seres humanos y quemaba
sus corazones. El
principio y el final de cada viaje.”
Se
los prometo, cada frase y palabra de este libro es inspiradora, los personajes
te llevan por un viaje que te provoca demasiadas emociones. Con una escritura
que es poética, cada frase, cada párrafo te provoca emociones diversas que te
llevan de llorar a reír, a suspirar en cada página.
Durante
sus libros Brittainy siempre nos brinda citas que te hacen reflexionar y pensar
y desear y soñar.

sobre mí, tierra debajo de mí, fuego dentro de mí, agua que me rodea, espíritu que me convierte”
Comencemos
por los personajes, Lucy, es una chica dulce, bella, que siente y lo expresa
libremente, que ama y que ríe y que siempre es positiva, valiente y sobre todo
que siempre está ahí para las demás personas.
Por
el contrario, Graham es un chico hermético, apático, con un corazón cerrado a
las emociones. Que nunca sonríe.
“Ella era la chica que sentía
todo y yo era el hombre que no sentía nada”
Por
azares del destino el camino de ambos se cruza y por diversas circunstancias
tienen que seguir relacionándose, y conforme avanza el tiempo y ellos se
vuelven cercanos, vemos el avance y el cambio en los personajes pero sobre todo
en Graham. Él tiene un pasado triste, oscuro que no le permite mostrar emociones y que
mantiene a las personas alejadas.
“Era
dolorosamente hermoso de una manera tan oscura y trágica. Sus palabras me
instaban a irme mientras sus ojos me suplicaban que me quedara”
Graham, odios!!! Mi corazón se hace un puño cada vez que
pienso en él, me provoca tanta ternura, tanto amor, cuando interactúa con Talon
es simplemente mágico, o eso nos hace sentir Brittainy.
Lucy es un personaje tan positivo que conforme pasa
tiempo con Graham lo va haciendo cambiar lo vuelve más abierto y sobre todo le
devuelve la esperanza. Lo saca de la
oscuridad y lo acerca a la luz que no sabe, pero necesita desesperadamente.
Esas palabras, sencillamente te transportan a la historia y te envuelven y no
te suelta hasta que terminas.
“La
mujer que sentía todo se acercaba más al hombre que no sentía nada. Por una
fracción de segundo en el tiempo, sentí un poco de su dolor mientras ella
encontraba mi frialdad”
“Lucy
Palmer me había salvado de la oscuridad, y nunca podría agradecerle lo
suficiente. Después de algún tiempo, sus ojos se llenaron de lágrimas al igual
que los míos. Sentí todo su ser envolviendo mi alma, absorbiéndome,
convirtiéndome en un hombre mejor de lo que jamás había pensado que podría ser.
Habría muerto un millón de muertes antes de darle a la vida una oportunidad, y
mi primer aliento de vida fuera tomado de sus labios.”
Los personajes secundarios cumplen un papel super
importante para la evolución y desarrollo de la trama. Amé con todo mi corazón
a Ollie, Mary, Karla, Talon, todavía
siento un nudo en la garganta con ellos.
Me encanta que este libro no tiene drama innecesario y que
no tiene conflictos más allá de lo normal. Un libro inspirador, que en ciertos
momentos me tuvo en un mar de lágrimas, y
que me mantuvo pegada a las páginas día y noche, hasta terminar.
Por último, siento una cierta tristeza (que voy a
hacer con mi vida) ahora que esta serie termina. Pero de verdad, Brit
cierra con broche de oro esta serie hermosa... Fue todo lo que esperaba y más.
No me queda más que agradecer a Brittainy por sus
palabras tan hermosas y sus historias que de verdad me han encantado desde el
primer libro que leí… Gracias por crear tus historias y compartirlas con
nosotros.
Recomendado, super recomendado… de verdad, tienen que
leerlo.

Talking about Brittainy Cherry's books is talking about
many things: sweetness, love, drama, chemistry, anguish, pain, courage
and certainly could
go on and on. And
this latest book in the Elements series is no exception.
Since I read The air he breaths, I could not stop with all the other books that
I can find of Brit. She has a prose that inspires you, makes you sigh, makes
your soul hurt, makes you smile and above all gives you hope. I
really am lack words to explain the emotion that causes me.
And The gravity of us, ladies and gentlemen, left me speechless ... I have
just finished processing what I read, and I still have a knot in my heart, but
let's go in parts.
In this fourth book we meet Graham and Lucy. And
their story is inspiring beyond words.
The emotion that made people both soar and
crash. The feeling that lit humans up and burned their hearts. The beginning
and ending of every journey.
I promise you, that every phrase and word in this book is inspiring, the
characters take you on a journey that causes you too many emotions. With
a writing that is poetic, every sentence, every paragraph causes you diverse
emotions that lead you from crying to laughing, to sighing on every page.
During her books Brittainy always gives us quotes that make you think and
think and desire and dream.
Air above me, earth below me, fire within
me, water surround me, spirit becomes me
Let's start with the characters, Lucy, is a sweet, beautiful girl, who
feels and expresses it freely, who loves and laughs and who is always positive,
brave and above all who is always there for other people.
On the contrary, Graham is an airy, apathetic boy with a closed heart to
the emotions. That
he never smiles.
She was the girl who felt everything, and I
was the man who felt nothing at all.
By chance of fate the way of both is crossed and by diverse circumstances
they have to continue interacting, and as time advances and they become close,
we see the advance and the change in the characters but mainly in Graham. He
has a sad, dark past that does not allow him to show emotions and keeps people
away.
He was painfully beautiful in such a dark,
tragic way. His words urged me to go while his eyes begged me to stay
Graham, OMG!!! My
heart is breaking every time that I think in him, he causes me so much
tenderness, so much love, when he interact with Talon is simply magical, or
that makes us feel Brittainy.
Lucy is such a positive character that as she spends time with Graham, she
makes him change. She makes him more open and above all gives him hope. She
pulls him out of the darkness and brings him closer to the light he does not
know, but desperately needs. Those
words simply transpose you into the history and envelop you and do not let go until
you finish.
" The woman who felt everything leaned
in closer to the man who felt nothing at all. For a split second in time, I
felt a little of her pain while she encountered my coldness"
" Lucy Palmer had saved me from the darkness, and I’d never be able to thank her enough. After some time, her eyes watered over and mine. I felt her entire being wrapping around my soul, soaking me in, changing me into a better man than I’d ever thought I could be. I’d died a million deaths before I gave living a chance, and my first breath of life was taken from her lips.”

The secondary characters play a super important role for the evolution and
development of the plot. I
loved Ollie with all my heart, Mary, Karla, Talon, I still feel a lump in my
throat with them.
I love that this book has no unnecessary drama and that it has no conflicts
beyond normal. An
inspiring book, which at times had me in a sea of tears, and kept me stuck to
the pages day and night, until I finished.
Finally, I feel a certain sadness (that I will do with my life) now
that this series ends. But
Brit really closes this beautiful series great... It was everything I expected
and more.
I just have to thank to Brittainy for her beautiful words and her stories that I have really loved since the first book I read ... Thank you for creating your stories and sharing it with us.
