Tori Bellows is a really good friend. She's always there when a shoulder is needed to cry on, to give dating advice, or for a good ol' time. Now, though, Tori is the one who needs a shoulder to lean on when she's in a tough spot. But all of her friends are too busy with their own lives.

Enter the Twin Estates' resident bad boy, Landon Edenhoff. When he offers her an all expenses paid vacation, she's immediately suspicious - he's rarely nice and his intentions are never good. But she's ready for a change of scenery and knows she can give as good as she gets from Mr. Rude & Nasty himself.

After all, how bad could this neighbor really be?

Review

“I always gonna be an asshole,” he warned her. “But for you ... for you, I'll try to be a good guy.”

I loved this story.
I had already read Liam's story and I was very curious about Landon, this brother doctor that the whole family loved, but who has addiction problems and I knew that I would love it, but let me tell you that it completely exceeded my expectations. I think it's my favorite of the whole series, the writing is fantastic, with a stable rhythm and a plot that had me hooked from the first page. It made me laugh, cry, sigh, it was heartbreaking.
The story presents Landon and Tori, Landon the sexy, not very communicative, smart and idiotic brother of Liam, and Tori, Liam's best friend, but also who is in love with him.
I admit that at the beginning it was very hard for me to like Landon, he is an idiot of epic proportions who gave the appearance that he only thought of him. An egocentric who behaves too badly with Tori, and honestly apart from obvious skills in bed, I did not see him anything salvageable, but as the plot progresses we see glimpses of the sweet and vulnerable man Landon is. Little by little we are seeing his facade fall, and I ended up completely in love with him.

“The best prize,” he whispered. “I really don't deserve you, but ... I'm so fucking thankful for you. You saved me, Tor. I didn't even know I was dying, and you brought me back to life.”

I loved Tori, she is a great protagonist, sexy, funny, sincere and too loyal and given to her friends, always there for those who needed her. My heart broke for her on more than one occasion. A brave girl who despite her problems keeps going on.
The couple is perfect, I loved how they were complemented in every way, the sex scenes are hot, and the chemistry was noticed from the first page. The drama between the couple and the talks are great, I just loved them.

“When I think about you and how I feel about you, it's like I can't breathe. I can feel you every moment of every day, all over my skin, and it's amazing, and I never want it to end, but I know it's going to end because I'm going to ruin it at some point, and then I'll lose you, and I can't fucking handle that. So I can't breathe.”

With a plot that hooks you, good writing, a stable rhythm, drama and anguish, the author gives us a beautiful story, with unique characters, damaged and a different plot.

Super recommended for those who like drama like me.

Author Bio

Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.
