Gahhhh !!!! How I do to continue living after this story !!! It tore at
me, it shattered my heart in a thousand pieces, it captivated me, it
hypnotized me and left me with an epic book hangover. Two nights
practically without sleep were worth it because the story hooked me from
the first words, I became addicted to it words and practically inhaled
the pages.
Good gone bad is one of those stories that stays forever in your heart, that takes you for a roller coaster of emotions, is intense, addictive, raw, emotional, sexy, full of anguish, loyalty, friendship, pain, suffering and love.
Their characters are intense and very complex, they have many layers but can be seen falling little by little through story. From the previous book H.G. and Danner called my attention because their attraction was palpable and intense, but their story is much more than I expected. God, they stole my heart. A modern story of Romeo and Juliet but darker and sexy.
Danner is what we expect from a good cop, he wants to enforce the law, and we can see his conflict with himself through the plot by the feelings he has towards H.G. I loved that the development of his feelings is gradual and we can see them emerge through story in scenes of past and present. No doubt Lion became my favorite of the series, I fell for him .... he is so sexy, ufff, melted my panties, but also, I died of love with his loyalty and love for H.G., he melted me with tenderness all that he did for her, even in spite of his own well-being.
Harleigh Rose is a badass character, I fell in love with her. She is a girl with an overwhelming presence, her madness is felt, and she does not care what others think of her, so real, so sincere, rebellious, and her loyalty to those she loves is incomparable, she is always willing to sacrifice for them even despite endangering her own live. I want her as my friend. But we also see her vulnerable side, her need for love and protection despite her hard appearance.
The relationship of both, is so intense and passionate, their sex scenes are so hot, ufff, their attraction is off charts, I loved it, I loved it, my Tablet almost caught fire.
The last chapters, I suffered so much, they had me on the edge of the seat and with my heart in my mouth, I cried, I cried, and my hubby wanted to kill me when I woke him up from the screams. I almost throw the Tablet out the window.
YOU NEED THIS STORY IN YOUR LIFE. I want to shout it to the four winds, the story left me completely spent, it's definitely a MUST READ.
