Dear Ava, OMG, is pure emotion from the beginning. The author did a masterful job and gave us an intense and mind-blowing masterpiece that gave me all the feelings and caused a swarm of butterflies in my stomach.

This story is a heartbreaking and emotional romance that left me breathless. Ava is a brave girl who fights to move on and Knox wants to help her. I loved the way they both help each other heal, their deep connection is palpable through the pages, and their romance is EVERYTHING, so raw, sweet and moving, full of moments soul-crashing, angst and banter in spades, I still feel it in every fiber of my being. I will remember these characters forever.

This is definitely a unique story that you don't want to miss, it made me sigh, swoon and love along with the characters, I didn't want it to ever end. A standing ovation for the author who left me with the worst book hangover ever.

“What do you want?” Knox says with as sneer as I ease in the football locker room. Cold eyes flick over my cheer skirt then move up and land on the hollow of my throat. It’s not cool enough at night for our sweater uniform so tonight my top is the red and white V-cut vest with CP embroidered on my chest. “Where’s Chance?” He whips off his sweat-covered jersey along with the pads underneath. “I don’t keep tabs on my best friend for you. Get out—before I scare you.” He’s scaring me already. But I can’t stop looking at him. His shoulders are broad and wide, his chest lightly dusted with sparse golden hair, tan from the sun, rippling with powerful muscles, leading down to a tapered and trim waist. He has a visible six-pack, and my gaze lingers briefly on a small tattoo on his hip, but I can’t tell what it is. He isn’t brawny or beefy-looking like one might expect from a guy blessed with his athletic prowess, but sculpted and molded and— Dropping my gaze, I stare at the floor. I shouldn’t be ogling him. Chance is my maybe-boyfriend. I hear male laughter from one of the rooms that branch off from the locker room, maybe the showers, and I deflate, guessing that’s where Chance is. Glancing up, I intend to ask him to tell Chance I came by to congratulate him on his two touchdowns, but my voice is frozen. Knox has unlaced his grass-stained pants and is shucking them off. His legs are heavily muscled and taut, unlike the leaner build of Chance. His underwear are white and tight, cupping his hard ass, the outline of his crotch— “Like what you see, charity case? A favor for a favor was everything I expected and more. It is so sweet, sexy and fun, there is no doubt that Helena Hunting is the queen of the rom-com, from the first words both characters owned my heart and I could not put it down a single second.

Stevie, our heroine wants to overcome an infidelity of her boyfriend, and moves to the building where our hero, Bishop lives. Their first interaction is not the best, and despite the attraction they both feel towards each other, a misunderstanding makes them think the worst of the other, but their first scenes are so hilarious that I couldn't stop laughing a single moment. After they clear up the misunderstanding, Stevie that is a physiotherapist, begins to help Bishop, who is a hockey player, to rehabilitate from a groin injury in a hockey game.

Through rehabilitation they begin to know each other, and their relationship begins to evolve to friends, but the attraction grows between them and their scenes are all so sexy, their slow burn chemistry almost burns my Kindle. Wow, I almost died of spontaneous combustion, I loved them.

Bishop is so sweet when he stops being an idiot, he made me sigh so much, and he cares so much for his brother and Stevie, he melted my heart. Stevie is so focused on being independent and not living under the shadow of her brother's fame, that makes her deny her attraction even more.

This is an incredible story, addictive, entertaining, so hilarious, I cannot recommend it enough, if you are a fan of the author and her stories you definitely will not want to miss this, it is a enemies to lovers that will leave you breathless.

She makes me lift my arm and drapes it over her shoulder. She’s incredibly small compared to me. She tucks one arm under my knee and gently grips the back of my calf with the other. “On the count of three,” she orders. I tense up when she hits three. She gets my leg about six inches off the floor, which is when I scream bloody murder again and grab on to her with both hands. “Okay. That’s not going to work. The angle is too awkward.” She taps her lip and holds her finger up. “I have an idea.” She ducks out from under my arm and hooks her fingers in the waistband of her yoga pants. “What the hell are you doing?” “Calm down. Some bathing suits have less coverage than my underwear. Besides, it’s nothing you haven’t seen before.” She kicks off her yoga pants, leaving her in a T-shirt and panties. They’re plain cotton boy shorts, which should be a good thing, but apparently my body doesn’t care that it’s not a satin or lace thong. All it cares about is the proximity of almost-naked pussy. Rook’s sister is standing in my bathroom in her underwear. If I had a sister who looked like Stevie and I knew that she was standing in one of my teammate’s bathrooms half-naked, I would probably kick the shit out of the guy. Thankfully, I have a brother. I try to keep my eyes averted, sort of, but I catch her reflection in the vanity mirror. She has fantastic legs. Athletic. Strong. And her ass. Goddamn. She definitely does a lot of squats, based on how round and firm it looks. The ache in my groin turns into that stabbing pain again because I’m getting hard. I think about my grandmother in a bathing suit to counteract the effect of Stevie being partly undressed. She steps into the tub, and I force myself to keep my eyes down, bringing up the image of that hot chick in the tub who turns into a rotting old lady in The Shining. That helps a bit. At least until Stevie moves into my personal space and starts touching me again. I mutter a string of profanity, especially when I feel her boob pressed against my arm for a few seconds. I have no choice but to latch on to her shoulder as we lift my leg over the edge of the tub. I’m sweating, I’m angry, and I hate my dick. “I need you to stop touching me!” It’s stupid because I’m still holding on to her, not the other way around. “Why are you yelling at me?” she shouts back. “Because you’re half-undressed in my tub, and I’m a guy, and apparently my dick is a fucking sadist. It honestly feels like my balls are on fire right now. A semi has never] been this painful.” “Well, close your damn eyes and think about dead things.” “It doesn’t matter if I close them. The image of you in panties is burned into the back of my lids, probably for the rest of my fucking life. It’s all I can see.” “You’d think you’d never seen a set of bare legs before.” She helps me lower myself into the tub and steps out. “It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a pair up close,” I grumble. “Such a surprise, with your warm, fuzzy personality.”
